Message from President

 Dear    Colleagues;

On behalf of The Heart Association of Thailand under royal patronage of H.M. the king, I would like to welcome you all to the 41st Annual Scientific Meeting of the HAT at Greenery Resort, Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima during 19-21 March 2009.

This is not the first time that we have our annual scientific meeting outside Bangkok. The main reason is to draw more attention from our colleagues (doctors, pharmacists, nurses and scientists) to spend more time with the meeting

This year, we arrange tailor made sessions for specific group of audience. On the first day of our meeting, we have two concurrent sessions along with main session. One session is for nurses in field of cardiovascular intervention and one session about congenital heart disease is for pediatricians, we also have session for pharmacists on the second day.

            Every year we have Kasarn Jatikavanij Lecture, this year we arrange to have Kamol Sindhavsnonda Lecture in ordered to remind us of one of the great cardiologists in Thailand.

            There are some more interesting events, which you can find from our program ie Cardiology fellow contest, Young investigation award competition.

            These are reasons for this year theme “A New Look @t Thai Heart”

Good medical personals (doctors, nurses, pharmacists and scientists) should not pay attention only learning, they should have sound mind and sound body. We would like to invite you to join our jogging program (mini-mini-marathon), plenty of prizes are waiting for you. The Greenery Resort has plenty of things to do; they have excellent life park. You can do riding horses, paint ball game, rock climbing, archery, bicycle, all terrain vehicles driving,  etc. Khao-yai national park is famous for waterfall Thanks to the pharmaceutical companies and our guest speakers for their support. Most of all, thank you to you all who come to attend our meeting to make our meeting complete despite your hectic schedule.
